a. East- steam/electric
b. South- steam/electric
c. Midwest- steam/electric
d. West- irrigation/agricultural
e. Alaska- mining
f. Hawaii- irrigation/agricultural

2) The differences in how water in used in the East and the West is due to the fact that most  their factories and businesses are located in the East which explains why steam/electric is to their greatest use of water, while in the West there economy is based off of farms which causing irrigation/agriculture to be their greastest use of water.

3) The East's most used water is in steam/electric due to all the factories and the weather because it can get really hot and really cold so air conditioning is used a lot. The South's and Midwest's most used water are also in steam/electric due to the fact that it also becomes really cold and really hot and because of all the businesse/factories. The West's most used water is irrigation/agricultural due to fact that they have a lot of farms in which they need to maintain by growing fruits and vegetables and feeding animals. Alaksa most used water is in mining because it is very cold there. Hawaii's most used water is in irrigation/agriculture because of all the crops that are grown there, in which they need to maintain.
