I feel the lack of water is more critical because water is a major part of operating the world and keeping humans a live so without water nobody would be able to surivive. However water pollution can be fixed by purifying water even though it may be expensive and time consuming. So although water pollution is still very serious I feel that overall the lack of water is much more critical.
